Mission and motivation
Mission
It is in me to observe and to see where things can be improved. I am still surprised by everyday things. For everyone else, life is so ordinary. But for me, life is very strange. Why do we do things the way we do? Apparently, I look at life differently. The whiteboards I sell help you to look at your own behaviour and habits. And help you to decide which habits you want to keep and which you want to get rid of.
Why did I start Whiteboardmaster?
Whiteboardmaster came into being because I have been using whiteboards in my private life for more than 10 years to balance work, private life and relaxation. With a whiteboard, I have succeeded what a phone and all its apps failed to do: achieve balance.
What do I want to achieve with Whiteboardmaster?
I want to share my experience of using whiteboards with the people around me. I want to give them the tools to use whiteboards properly and make it easy. With a mobile app, it is very easy to postpone an appointment for a week. With the whiteboards I sell, this is also very simple. Don't erase and write again, just move a magnet with an appointment. Especially with irregular shifts, it helps a lot to coordinate who is at home when to take care of the children and walk the dog. I would like to get in touch with you to exchange experiences. If you have a nice idea, please feel free to contact me.
What motivates me?
I am very enthusiastic about the magnets that have now been developed. They can be used by adults and children. I hope they will make life easier and more manageable.
My competences
In my daily work I have always been occupied with quality management. After having done this for more than 15 years, it is very clear to me. Everything, really everything, revolves around attitude and behaviour. We have several theories and techniques to influence people's behaviour, such as organisational science, change management, Lean Six sigma and all management books. For me, it is about listening carefully to the customer and the people doing the work. And in most cases, the customer himself clearly knows the solution. Behaviour is just very difficult to change. We all want change, but change is a lot harder. Almost everyone wants a tight body. But a gym subscription offers 0.0 guarantee for this. That is why it is important to look at what blockages there are. Why don't you go to the gym? Is it because of the TV? Is it boring? Why do you do the things you do? And what does it take to do it differently? A whiteboard is in any case a good start ;-)
